Vocalid^® Technology patented by Elva is a very innovative technology based on the emission of an encrypted acoustic signal.

This crypto acoustic process consists of sending online cryptograms within an acoustic vehicule. It transmits a dynamic One Time Password (OTP), instead of current Login, password or card number, to provide a high security level of authentication.

Elva has developed several chips to offer ISO smart cards with crypto acoustic interfaces based on Vocalid^® technology, allowing a highly secured online business transactions from any fix or mobile phone or PC.

They provide the user with ultimate mobility, trust and ergonomics. He will use his smart card with any phone or PC, anywhere in the world, with the same high level of security since there is no need for card reader. The user will enjoy not being required to type long code, giving card number on line or memorizing password.

This dynamic and high security level of authentication solves many problems in the online security area, from e-payment, to secure access to private informations.

The acoustic transmission also solves the problem of card reader’s deployment in PC’s and phone sets, coupling security with mobility since the vocalid^® card secured features become available regardless of which terminal is used and country the cardholder stands.
