VocalAccess is based on the innovative and emerging technology Vocalid^® that enhances the cardholder authentication process by enabling VocalAccess card to generate a one-time encrypted dynamic password. VocalAccess is intended to provide a very high security level of authentication and offers an unique solution to Windows Login process.

The static password currently used to protect your works under Windows is not offering the expected level of security and very often can be shared or used by the others.

Elva developed a very attractive solution which replaces the current Identification/Password required for the Windows login process with VocalAccess.

Encrypted Acoustic Authentication

Elva is offering an innovative and very attractive Winlogon solution with VocalAccess. Cardholders will have a convenient and secure authentication process by using a Smart Card ISO 7816 format with an external Acoustic module. The information identifying the user is sent by activating the piezoelectric sound transducer to create a dynamic one-time password for each transaction. A 128 bit encrypted acoustic signal is emitted. The identification sent in the audio sequence consists of an unique identifier associated with each card, and a cryptogram which is different for each authentication.

The encrypted dynamic one-time acoustic password can supplement the static passwords commonly used today for Windows Login process. The dynamic one-time acoustic password is not valid in subsequent transactions, and therefore offers a higher level of security of transactions.

How to use VocalAccess

VocalAccess is easy to use.
Prior to use VocalAccess you have to install the software. You can download it from our Elva Web Site : www.elva.fr by following the Installation Instructions.
Introduce the smart card into the External Acoustic Module, connect the external microphone which is part of the delivered kit if not built in into your computer, approach the module close by the microphone and gently press the button for a couple of seconds and then you login to Windows. You can ad, on top, your PIN Code to get a higher security level.

Get also your works secured.
As soon as you get your login to Windows, VocalAccess is giving you another level of security by protecting all the works done under Windows you want to protect (contact us for any new works to protect).
You just have to activate again your VocalAccess module by sending a new acoustic signal and you get access to any of the works you selected.
