CREATION IN AUGUST 1996
Elva is a French-American company strongly
positioned in the sectors of idendification / authentication.
We are specialized in the conception of innovative components
and the development of smart card related software, mainly
for the telecom and Internet sectors.
IN NOVEMBER 1998 - ELVA winner of the
Best Innovation Prize
A first Vocalid® smart card prototype is presented at
the Cartes'98 exhibition in Paris, France. It is awarded the
prize for Best Innovation.

Elva, Inc. has been listed since January 1999 on the Nasdaq
OTCBB (evai).

ACHIEVEMENTS
Since is creation, Elva works as an Atmel design
center. The American semi conductor manufacturer
is currently marketing the following chips under Elva license:
- AT88SC0104CRF, AT88SC0204CRF, AT88SC0404CRF, AT88SC0808CRF,
AT88SC1616CRF, AT88SC3216CRF: Contactless 2 to 32-Kbit user
memory with authentication & encryption, ISO/IEC 14443
Type B compliant.
- AT88SC25616C, AT88SC12816C, AT88SC6416C: 256-Kbit user
memory with authentication & encryption.
- AT88SC153 (1.5K EEPROM with authentication; three 512-bit
zones), AT88SC1608 (16K EEPROM with authentication; eight
2-Kbit zones): Secure Memory Ics with password & authentication.
Elva’s main project is Vocalid® technology
based on a specific, patented and unique chip design. Vocalid®
is a new smart card technology based on an innovative
concept consisting of using a standard format card to send
dynamic authentication codes via any telephone or PC, with
no need for readers. The Vocalid® related to
R&D phase took six years and has been financed by institutions
like ANVAR in France and venture capital coming from Europe
and US.
YEAR 2003
We have recently conceived and set up together with partners
a Vocalid® -based transactional European platform
named iProved. This project has been supported by
the European Commission (IST Program).

YEAR 2004
European Commission announces 20 European Information Society
Technology Prize winners. Elva is one of the winners of the
2004 European IST Prize.
Independent experts from 16 European Countries evaluated 430
candidates Products from 29 countries. The winners come from
Finland, France, Ireland, Israel, The Netherlands, Norway,
Spain, Sweden and the UK

Laurent Poirier joins Elva International Inc. as Associate
Director
The strategy of the Company is to develop, manufacture and
